11 months and counting!

11 whole months! Joseph has just now started to eat table food for me. We are still having issues finding a sippy cup that he will drink from consistently, but he will get there. He is constantly on the go, which means that I am too! He is such a fun little boy. He is very social and loves to be around other people, especially other children. He likes to copy other kids. He said "mama" and "dada" with intent this month. He is starting to understand the word "no". That doesn't mean he follows it well though. We are just counting down the days until his birthday!

10 Months

It is hard to believe, but it is true. This happy smiling boy is ten months old! He weighs 25 lbs, has six teeth and is a bundle of love. He will play with anyone. He likes wheels and things that move. He loves animals and animal sounds. He is cruising around furniture better and better. He has started doing things intentionally to be funny. It is so amazing to watch him turn into a little boy right in front of me. I hope I don't jinx it by writing this, but his sleeping is much improved. He has been sleeping through the night more often than not. He is just so much fun!

On the go...

9 Months!

Well month 9 has been an interesting and fast paced month! Joseph celebrated turning 9 months old by crawling AND pulling into a standing position AND cruising along furnniture! Joseph has unfortunately also been sick for most of the last month, but that hasn't really slowed him down much! At his 9 month check up he weighed 22 pounds and was 29 3/4 inches long! He is clapping and waving, but not really in response to anything. He loves the movie Cars. He is fascinated by the dogs. He loves music and will "dance" when he hears it. Still doesn't sleep, but is happy!

Month 8

Well here we are ringing in Joseph's 8th month of life. He decided to start the month off with an ear infection, but that is ok because he is the happiest sick baby I have ever seen! He weighed 20 lbs 11 oz today at the doctor's office and got yet another round of meds! Maybe by the time he is one he will have an awsome immune system and never get sick again. Joseph holds his own bottle, has two teeth on the bottom front and center and is starting to eat bits of table food! He loves music, animal sounds and his new tractor that Lollie, aka my mom, got him!
