Our good friend Brian Fuente, stopped by for a visit and took some wonderful pics for us with his awesome camera! He captured some great shots of our handsome boy!
Wow 7 months = very active little boy! These photo sessions are getting more challenging, he would not stay still. He sits up by himself for the most part, he is a rolly polly and talks nonstop (in Joseph language of course). He is weighing in at 19 pounds 6 oz. He rang in his 7th month of life with a stomach bug (the throwing up kind). I do not ever want to go through that again. He was weak and pitiful. It took him an entire week to get back to his normal eating and he got an ear infection because he threw up so much. These pictures were taken a week after he turned 7 months and he has clearly rebounded!
Joseph was 6 months old on June 10! He weighed 18 lbs 12 oz and was 26.5 inches long. He was in the 70% for height, 75% for weight and his head circumference was still in the 90%! So not only is he cute and funny, he is smart too! He wants so badly to be able to move! He is sitting up better and better and has mastered rolling from his back to his tummy. He eats 6-7oz of formula every 4 hours and he eats solid food for lunch and dinner. He was moved to the Creepers room at daycare and saw the other kids eating a lunch meal and decided he needed one too! He still doesn't sleep consistently, so I guess I will not ever get a full nights sleep again, but when I wake up to that smiling face it is all worth it!
We took Joseph swimming for the first time in early June and he LOVED it! He kicked back in his floatie and was happy as could be. We have been swimming several times over the summer and he kicks and splashes in the water. I have a feeling we will be taking swimming lessons at an early age.
Joseph was 5 months old on May 10! He weighs about 17 pounds! He eats 6 oz every four hours and eats solid food in the evening! He loves applesauce and pears. He still is an inconsistent sleeper, but despite that he is a happy baby! Unfortunately he has a mild ear infection, but takes his bubble gum pink medicine, aka amoxicillin (? spelling) like a champ! He is starting to try to sit up and is trying to roll over from his back to his tummy!
Joseph was Baptized on May 8, 2011, Mother's Day. It was wonderful. Joseph, we discovered later that afternoon, was sick. Despite the fact that he did not feel good, he was a trooper. He has wonderful Godparents, Dottie Powell and Brian Fazier, who will spoil him rotten. Thank you to everyone who came and shared that day with us. It was truly special!
