Joseph's Two week check up

We went for Joseph's two week check up on Monday and he is doing great! He weighed 7lbs 8 oz! Considering that we left the hospital weighing 6lbs 7oz I would say that he is making up for lost time! He was 20 inches long, which is a 1/4 longer than when he was born! The doctor noted how strong he was...good head control and that he has already learned to roll to one side! So great visit and we go back in a few weeks for his six week shots =(

Joseph's Frist Christmas

We had a very merry Christmas! It was laid back and filled with love. Joseph got lots of presents from Santa, a.k.a., his wonderful grandparents, aunts and cousins! And from the look on his face I would say he enjoyed his day!

Two weeks old!

Wow, time does fly! Everyone says that, but only now do I truly understand! It is hard to believe that Joseph has been in this world for two weeks now! My cousin Caroline came and took some pics for us to document the occasion and for me to use for our announcements! Here is a sneak peek! For those of you who don't know, I had a mold of my pregnant belly made into a bowl when I was about 35 weeks along. I put Joseph in the bowl for these pics to show how he has grown! Hard to believe that all that baby fit in my belly!

36 Weeks

Count down!!! We are in the home stretch. Everything is still going well. I am only working half days. My blood pressure has been trying to creep up a little and my legs are swelling a good bit, but he is fine and I still feel fairly well despite all of that! We are set to be induced on December 20 if he isn't here on his own before then! So stay tuned...we will keep everyone posted!
