Meet Baby Powell! DJ and I learned that we were pregnant (and by we I mean me) about 4 weeks ago! We were elated! We went to my doctor on April 20 only to find out that it was too early to see anything! We had to wait 4 LONG weeks before going back on May 14, and voila...we got the first pictures of our sweet baby! We were absolutely amazed to hear the strong heart beat and see the little hands forming already! We got a good report. They baby looks great, I am about 8 weeks along and our due date is Christmas Eve! I think I can safely say that this will be the best Christmas that we have ever had!
God is always a gracious, loving and giving God. He gave Don and I Lisa and family, Dottie and DJ and Kristin. Congratulations Kristin and DJ for loving and serving our God enough for Him to bless you with a new precious addition to our family. I often wonder what I did to be so blessed, then I remember, just serving on a daily basis and loving our God. So congratulations, to both of you, for your accomplishments together since July 28, 2007 and for sharing the special time with us in such a special way. I love you both with all my heart. May God continue to bless you each and every day of your lives.
ReplyDeleteCan not believe I do not have a feeling either way about the sex of out precious gift coming Christmas, maybe because I knew right away that Kristin WAS going to find out ASAP! I am pretty excited about the birth because the parents to be both LOVE children, everybodies! With Chesley I was so calmly confident she was a girl I gave her an add a pearl necklace at a baby shower before she was born and Don Powell was just as certain what we were having all three times. Just My here, kinda excited!
